Speedcast Re-Branding Creates New Global Force In Satellite Communications
Online, January 28, 2014 (Newswire.com) - SpeedCast, one of the world's major international satellite telecommunications service providers, today announced the latest step along its global expansion journey - a unifying of its brand to create a single new force with a top five position in the industry.
With more than 15 years experience, SpeedCast has enjoyed sustained success and growth from its base in Hong Kong and now supports customers across more than 60 countries through 16 sales and support offices, 30 teleport operations and a network of 150 partners. Since embarking on its global expansion two years ago, SpeedCast has acquired other established satellite industry players, Australian Satellite Communications, Pactel International and Elektrikom Satellite Services.

SpeedCast is making its announcement on the opening day of the Pacific Islands Telecommunications Association (PITA) meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii, where many of its customers will be attending. The company will also be appearing and speaking at the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) at the same venue on the following day.
