Spanish Startup ECmanaged Secures Second-round Financing and Reaches $1.2m Funding
Online, May 5, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The $400.000 funding commitment by Spanish Public Business Entity, CDTI, means ECmanaged has now raised $1.2m since its launch in June 2013.
The SaaS management tool enables users to deploy, monitor and manage Cloud servers from a single login. It supplies services to major broadcasting and VOD companies, managed services providers, European Cloud providers as well as small-scale ecommerce startups.
Juan Carlos Moreno, founder and CTO at ECmanaged, is satisfied with the latest investment. "The participation of the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and the EU R&D Framework Programme is proof for the growth prospects we have forecasted for multi-Cloud and Cloud orchestration in Europe."
The Barcelona based startup sees a bright future for Cloud on the European continent. European companies are increasingly migrating towards Cloud and are choosing for either European providers or cocktails of multiple providers and technologies. ECmanaged provides the right tool to create such heterogeneous IT environments.
The company has a predicted growth of 30% and is securing strategic partnerships with regional IaaS providers on the European continent.
