South Florida Music Artist April "ARaQ" Raquel, Releases New Funk Soul Single "Nobody Does It Better"

MIAMI, FLORIDA, November 2, 2015 (Newswire.com) - South Florida music artist, April Raquel releases new funk soul music single, Nobody Does It Better (out 10/30/15 as an independent release). The song is available as a digital download on iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay and other digital music outlets. The full EP is scheduled for release in early 2016.

The talented singer has transcreated her energetic, soul-rousing live performance into a piece of authentic funk, soul music. The single, the first off her upcoming EP, is an upbeat track made for dancing. “It’s a big song, all live instrumentation; there’s horns, percussion, keys, guitar, clav, bass” said Raquel as she describes the sound. The single, produced by South Florida producer and bass player, Todrick Hunter tells the story of a confident female’s declarations. Co-written by Hunter and Raquel; Nobody Does It Better delivers on a big sound and great vocal arrangement.

Raquel is an electrifying performer, reminiscent of a modern-day Tina Turner. Her show is dubbed the Urban, Rock, Soul, Funk Experience.

April Raquel and her band, Kouture Funk, performs covers and her original music in small to mid-size venues throughout the Atlantic coast. The band is currently performing every Monday night at Ocean's Ten on Miami Beach, Florida.
