Solas Energy Consulting Receives Second and Third Major Construction Award
Fort Collins, Colorado, September 12, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Following closely on the award of the Sunflower Wind Project announced in August, Solas Energy Consulting US Inc. and its Canadian partner company, Solas Energy Consulting Inc. (collectively “Solas Energy”), today announced two additional significant project awards. Solas will provide comprehensive construction management services for the 51 MW Hancock Wind Project under construction near Ellsworth, Maine, and the 185 MW Bingham Wind Project under construction near Bingham, Maine. Solas Energy will oversee the turbine supplier and balance-of-plant contractor’s site work on behalf of the project owners, Hancock Wind, LLC and Blue Sky West, LLC. Construction was started on both projects in 2015. Solas Energy was engaged midway through project construction to replace the previous construction management contractor.
