Online, July 23, 2012 (Newswire.com) - SmartAVI, Inc., a world-leading innovator of digital signage and video/audio/control signal distribution and switching over UTP/STP and fiber optic cable, announces the release of its American made HDX-Plus to replace it's successful HDX-1000 HDMI extender. The HDX-Plus uses two CAT5 UTP cables to extend 1080p HDMI signals over 200ft (60m) from the source.
The HDX-Plus offers bi-directional IR and RS-232 extension that allow for control of the video source and the display. Whether it's for a home entertainment system or a commercial installation, the HDX-Plus delivers flexibility and control.
