Slate & Bow Leveraged Networking at Quarterly Conference

The Slate & Bow team recently returned from a quarterly leadership conference. There they took advantage of various skill development workshops and many networking opportunities, according to Herb, the company's President.

Several of the Slate & Bow associates were able to attend an industry conference that is held every quarter. It was an excellent chance to hone key skills while networking with leading professionals in their field. Herb stated that his team set out for the event with a view to leverage as many benefits of the conference as possible.

“This event provided a lot of chances to hear from the most prominent figures in our field,” he said. “There were workshops and presentations on a wide range of topics. Additionally, we were able to meet many colleagues from around the country. This gave us a chance to share our own ideas and get the latest information on the industry.”

Slate & Bow’s President Examines the Benefits of Conferences

According to Herb, the Slate & Bow associates attend conferences and other training events on a regular basis. He explained that continual learning is a high priority for his team. They believe that working on their abilities and insight is essential for the long-term success of the business.

“Conference attendance is an excellent way for us to stay up to date with everything happening in our industry,” he added. “We learn about everyone from competitors, to major brands, to vendors. Keeping a finger on the pulse of our field is necessary to be competitive both now and in the future.”

Herb revealed that gathering new content is another significant bonus from attending such events. In today’s business world, being able to share interesting and relevant information is a powerful way to attract an audience. Conferences, he asserted, offer unparalleled opportunities to curate such content.

“Conferences are all about interacting with others,” Herb concluded. “That is certainly valuable in and of itself. However, attendance can also provide some serious benefits in terms of our relationships with others. Whether we are able to find new techniques to help the brands we represent or learn about ways to find the best talent, conferences are always sources of great information.”
