SkyWatch Space Applications Inc. ("SkyWatch"), a Kitchener-based space technology startup, announces today the immediate availability of Very High-Resolution (VHR) Earth observation data via its distribution platform, EarthCache.

VHR multispectral optical data, defined as 15-49cm native resolution, enables customers in various industries to make more accurate decisions, particularly in the areas of asset monitoring, coastal monitoring, risk mitigation, and detailed vegetation management. Through the EarthCache platform, SkyWatch offers the best small area unit economics for VHR data in the market.

The addition of VHR optical data to the EarthCache platform enriches the SkyWatch aggregation model, which provides Earth observation data customers access to the largest network of industry-leading data sets within a single solution with a flexible, pay-per-use pricing model.

EarthCache is the simplest way to integrate commercial satellite imagery into any application, removing the complexity out of Earth observation data sourcing and processing. EarthCache is a single access point to the best Earth observation data available across all industries, with data from leading providers including Airbus, Planet, SIIS, 21AT, and ESA.

EarthCache customers also have access to a robust, easy-to-use API suite, standardized analysis-ready data, and custom parameters for data requests, allowing geospatial solutions providers to take their products to market faster.
