Sisense Delivers Agile Data and Analytics in a Hybrid Cloud Experience With AWS

Achieves AWS Outposts Ready Designation to Deliver Greater Value to On-Premise Customers

Sisense, the world’s leading analytics platform for builders, today announced that it has achieved the AWS Outposts Ready designation, part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Ready Program. This designation means that Sisense is fully capable of integrating its platform with AWS Outposts, a fully managed service that extends AWS infrastructure, AWS services, APIs, and tools to virtually any datacenter, co-location space, or on-premises facility for a truly consistent hybrid experience. Today’s news builds on Sisense’s long-standing relationship with AWS, which includes membership in the AWS Partner Network (APN), close collaboration with Amazon Redshift, and integrations with a number of other services including Amazon Athena, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Kinesis. With Sisense and AWS Outposts, companies who were traditionally unable to take advantage of the benefits of the cloud because they need to be on premises — whether due to low latency needs, security requirements, or regulatory demands — can now get the best of both worlds. Companies gain access to more options — advanced technologies available thus far only in the cloud — giving them the flexibility to select the storage setup that best addresses their unique needs. With AWS Outposts, Sisense offers these customers the same AWS hardware infrastructure, services, APIs, and tools to build and run data and analytics applications on-premises and in the cloud, resulting in an easy-to-deploy, agile, powerful experience.

The industry has turned to AWS for data elasticity and scalability coupled with the power of the Sisense analytics platform to deliver powerful insights from complex data using a single analytics platform. Today’s announcement builds upon the existing relationship between these longtime industry collaborators. It delivers tremendous benefits to customers who want or need a hybrid cloud experience that gives them the ability to remain on-premises while providing them with the best cloud technology options as well as control over how and where their data is stored, accessed, and analyzed within AWS. Operationally, AWS Outposts are connected to the nearest AWS Region to provide the same management and control plane services on-premises for a truly consistent operational experience across the customer on-premises and cloud environments. AWS Outposts infrastructure and the Sisense platform are managed, monitored and updated by AWS and Sisense just like in the cloud.

“Customers are looking for better ways to store and manage their data across the enterprise as part of a comprehensive digitization initiative,” said Joshua Burgin, General Manager, AWS Outposts, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “With Sisense for AWS Outposts, customers can benefit from a comprehensive data management solution for any application in their environment, on AWS Outposts, or in AWS Regions, for a truly consistent hybrid experience.”

Benefits of Sisense + AWS Outposts
Sisense paired with AWS Outposts offers customers a powerful combination that enables data and its management to become a key pillar of their business success.

  • AWS Outposts is a fully managed service that extends AWS infrastructure, AWS services, APIs, automation, and tools to virtually any datacenter, co-location space, or on-premises facility for a consistent hybrid experience.

  • As a member of the AWS Outposts Ready Program, Sisense’s integration with AWS Outposts has already been thoroughly tested to ensure a seamless experience for customers. This gives customers more time to build in Sisense, pulling data from AWS Outposts, as less time needs to be spent conducting tool evaluation.

  • Just as AWS Outposts unlocks access to many capabilities previously restricted to cloud customers, Sisense encourages new data-driven practices leveraging modern business intelligence and analytics capabilities. Together AWS Outposts and Sisense enable complex mashups from a myriad of data sources, supporting hybrid-cloud and implementations and offering powerful embedded analytics, insightful visualizations and built-in artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

“Sisense is proud to be a long-standing member of the AWS Partner Network, which has allowed us to better support our customers with best in class cloud technology,” said Dr. Guy Levy-Yurista, Chief Strategy Officer, Sisense. “This new designation as a member of the AWS Outposts Ready Program represents the next step in our continued commitment to always test the limits of where we can unlock value for our customers. Now with a simple click in the AWS Outposts console, our customers get access to Sisense’s powerful BI and analytics platform alongside AWS’s groundbreaking hybrid, fully managed service.”
