The firms collectively offer early-stage technology entrepreneurs an accelerated path to scale through enterprise and government contracts. Anthony “Tony” Scott, managing partner, information technology, at RIDGE-LANE Limited Partners, will lead the combined efforts, providing 40-years of C-Suite multi-sector information technology perspective to inform critical decisions of our early-stage portfolio companies.
Mr. Scott was appointed by President Barack Obama as the 3rd Chief Information Officer (Federal CIO) for the U.S. government, where he was responsible for modernizing IT systems, infrastructure, digital transformation, cybersecurity, open data and IT strategy across the federal government. Prior, Tony served as the CIO and senior vice president of VMware Inc., the CIO and corporate vice president of Microsoft Corporation, the CIO and senior vice president of The Walt Disney Company and the chief technology officer at General Motors Corporation.
