Signature Healthcare at Home Agency Receives Exceptional Patient Feedback

SALT LAKE CITY, October 29, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Signature Healthcare at Home’s hospice agency in Salt Lake City, Utah, received outstanding state survey results with positive patient and caregiver feedback.

The survey is an on-site inspection conducted by the Department of Human Services, based on guidelines outlined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The Salt Lake City hospice agency received exceptionally high ratings in low rehospitalization rates, managing daily activities, handling of special care issues, and recommendations for their hospice services.

The hospice agency ranked above the state and national average in ratings; 92% of those who took the survey rated Signature Healthcare at Home’s Salt Lake City hospice agency a nine or 10, which is 12% higher than the state average.  

The agency also ranked above the national average in how the team handles specific care.

The hospice team maintains exceptional low-deficiency ratings. Their 2019 results revealed only one deficiency, right next to the highest possible score. They received a similar score during their last survey in 2016. In previous surveys conducted by another program, patients frequently call out specific clinicians, saying they love the staff and feel cared for.
