Showtime Does An INSOLITO for Hero!
Online, March 9, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Hero has had a historic record of scripting one milestone after another. Continuing this tradition, more recently the company added yet another big feather to its cap - having put the magical figure of 50 million bikes on the road!
As a fitting tribute to the passion and dedication of all its stakeholders across the globe, Hero decided to host a mega celebration and utilize this opportunity to share its vision and engage its partners in some serious knowledge exchange.
When a world leader in the two-wheeler industry decides to unveil its vision for the future, it calls for a one-of-its-kind event.
INSOLITO - Spanish for "unusual", "extraordinary". While INSOLITO as a theme for the event was cracked by the client, the interesting point is that everything about the event - from the concept to the content, from the set-up to the technology to the flow and finally the execution was completely INSOLITO. In fact, nothing about this experience was normal or conventional.
To begin with, we gave the venue - a barren farmland with uneven terrain - a complete makeover, replete with landscaping and Water Based Management to compact the soil. And then, we decided to be slightly adventurous and brought in 40 freight containers to create a gigantic, truly magnificent and world-class convention center. A VERY FIRST IN INDIA! The technology-enabled interior spaces were, in themselves, a visual treat. The canvas covered floor in the middle of the arena-style seating doubled up as the performance area and the projection surface. One of the dominant elements here was the 20 feet x 20 feet, larger-than-life fly cube which became the four-sided projection screen. Complementing the visual spectacle were two mobile, multi-faceted diamond-shaped polygons imparting a road-like feel to the floor and, again, doubling up as projection surfaces.
A battery of 28 projectors in sync were used to create the dramatic 3D imagery of synchronized projection and special effects lighting on the floor, the polygons, the fly cube and both the 190 feet container walls!
And the diary of remarkable content was equally INSOLITO.
Charkha Artistes from Punjab performing to the strains of Vaishnava Janato from within niches in the container walls even as images of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela washed the two walls.
The giant fly cube coming alive with images of Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs and Larry Page.
The dramatic reveal of Pawan Munjal from within the fly cube amidst SFX.
Pawan Munjal's engaging knowledge sessions with Eric Buell and other partners from across the world through live video conferencing via satellite link-up.
Gravity-defying acts by International Parkourians.
The extraordinary Quixotic Fusion Act. A magical combination of music, images, dance and visual effects. A total sensory experience.
Showcase of Hero's world-class Neemrana and Kukas facilities through synchronized projection on both the container walls amidst In Senso aerial rappelling acts.
And the fitting finale act to celebrate partnerships - legendary violinist L. Subramaniam and troupe being wheeled in on stage and the violin strings singing the symphony of partnerships.
A TRULY PATHBREAKING EVENT!!!
