Short Film 'I Be' Premiering at the Silk City Flick Fest
Online, October 7, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Los Angeles, CA - The ParraShow Pictures short film entitled 'I Be' has been selected to screen and will be premiering at the Silk City FlickFest in Hartford, CT. This dark neo-noir film will be part of the festival's Horror Shorts 1 short film block Friday October 8th at Young! Studios.
Filmed in Los Angeles and directed by Victor Giovanny Parra, I Be is a black and white piece about Jester (Justin Schaefers) an odd and lonely guy who finds a dead body. He is visited by Barbara (Reena Dutt), a government paper pusher who was assigned to his case. Things get interesting as formalities are thrown to the wind as Jesters and Barbara's relationship take an interesting turn.
About Silk City Flick Fest:
In 2009 the First Annual Silk City Flick Fest (SCFF) was born in Manchester, Connecticut. We chose the name Silk City due to all the Silk manufacturing plants built in and around Manchester. It exploded onto the Festival scene screening 50 plus movies from all over the world and hosting highly regarded industry panels. Some of the movies shown our first year were picked up for distribution and many contacts were forged throughout the event.
