Sept. 11: Area Seniors Are Invited to Celebrate National Assisted Living Week at Wine & Cheese Party at Lester Senior Housing Community

Guests will Enjoy Socializing With Residents, Tour Community and New Memory Care Suite in the Senior Living Community's Assisted Living Residence

National Assisted Living Week 2017

The Lester Senior Housing Community in Whippany, New Jersey, invites older adults to a complimentary Wine & Cheese Social on Monday, Sept. 11, as part of the community’s annual observance of National Assisted Living Week. The party will be held in the Weston Assisted Living Residence from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and feature Celtic harp music along with refreshments. Seniors may also tour the new Memory Care Suite in the community’s Weston Assisted Living Residence. The community is located at 903-905 Route 10 East in Whippany on the Alex Aidekman Family Jewish Community Campus.

The completely remodeled and specially designed floor offers compassionate, person-centered care for adults ages 62 and older with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diagnoses. An intimate, supportive environment, the Memory Care Suite includes a community room for programs and activities, comfortable lounges, a quiet room, private dining room, and outdoor roof deck with plantings and seating.
