Second National Telemedicine & Telehealth Service Provider Showcase to Feature Top Tele-Specialty Service Providers and Technology Solutions

The second national Telemedicine & Telehealth Service Provider Showcase (SPS 2016) is coming to Phoenix, AZ, June 21-22, 2016. The SPS 2016 expo hall is a networking forum featuring a broad array of tele-medical specialty services and models, including top names in the industry. Focused on advancing telehealth partnerships. SPS provides practical advice from nationally recognized telehealth experts and showcases the latest trends in clinical telehealth.

Many of the top names in the telehealth business will be featured in the expo hall at the second national Telemedicine & Telehealth Service Provider Showcase (SPS 2016), to be held June 21-22 in downtown Phoenix, AZ. SPS 2016 is presented by the award-winning Arizona Telemedicine Program.

SPS focuses on building partnerships to bring quality medical specialty services directly into hospitals, clinics, private practices, schools and other entities through telehealth technology. The goals are to improve patient care and outcomes and to increase market share for both healthcare providers and their partners, the telehealth service providers and technology solutions companies showcased at the conference.

SPS attendees will receive practical advice from nationally recognized telehealth experts on building successful programs; forming effective partnerships; and negotiating legal, regulatory and payment hurdles. The Expo Hall is the SPS networking forum for attendees to explore a broad array of tele-medical specialty services and models, to see and discuss the latest trends in clinical telehealth, and to meet with prospective telehealth partners during coffee breaks, lunches and an evening reception.

As part of its focus on advancing telehealth partnerships, SPS conferences include “Lightning Rounds,” where attendees are briefly introduced to exhibitors before expo hall breaks. “[The Lightning Rounds] stimulated thinking and prompted me to reach out to providers I had not approached prior,” commented one SPS 2014 participant.

The convention is co-hosted by the ATP; the Southwest Telehealth Resource Center; and the Four Corners Telehealth Consortium, which includes the University of Arizona Health Sciences, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, and Utah Telehealth Network. SPS Co-chairs are nationally and internationally renowned experts in the field and past chairs of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA): Dale C. Alverson, MD, Medical Director of the Center for Telehealth at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and Elizabeth A. Krupinski, PhD, Director of the Southwest Telehealth Resource Center and Professor and Vice-chair of Research in the Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences at Emory University.
