Seattle Cares for Slain Pregnant Afghan Women

Seattle expectant mother starts campaign to show the slain pregnant Afghan women's families that Americans care!

SEATTLE - With NATO's recent admitted role in the deaths of two pregnant women in a botched Special Operations raid February 12, one Seattle pregnant mother is trying to show that American's care for the women's families.

Show Them We Care is a grass-roots action taken by the 8 month expectant eastside mother, Beautiful Existence. Beautiful started a campaign to help show American's care about the two slain pregnant women's families by requesting sympathy cards on Ashoka's changemakers web site today.

"After denying it for weeks, NATO's announcement yesterday just filled my heart with grief for these poor women and their surviving children and families" Beautiful said. "I wanted to do something to help show these victims that not all American's are perpetrators of such actions and that we care about their loses just like we would care for our own expectant mothers and their families!"

The requests made on the changemakers site are simple; just send an email to ShowThemWeCare@gmail.com if you would like to send a sympathy email or card to the victim's families.
"We can all do simple acts to help advance peace and compassion" Beautiful noted "even if we never see or meet the people we care about."

Note to reporters: Beautiful Existence is available for interviews. Please contact Beautiful Existence at: ShowThemWeCare@gmail.com for scheduling.
