SEA Releases Major Update to Its Z Systems Report Management Solution - TRMS
New enhancements improve search, image management, and provide added capabilities for AFP and DJDE viewing for z Systems users
GARDEN CITY, N.Y., January 9, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Software Engineering of America, a leading vendor of Data Center Management solutions on IBM z/OS and the IBM i (AS/400), announces the availability of TRMS 7.02, the latest release of SEA’s z Systems Report Management Solution.
TRMS 7.02 represents a major leap in design, functionality, and usability for TRMS customers with several major enhancements based on user requests and feedback. In this release, SEA has significantly enhanced search capability across multiple reports, enhanced features for security and image handling, simplified the installation process, and also added the capability, as an additional licensable component, to view AFP and Xerox DJDE reports in its web interface.

New enhancements in TRMS 7.02 include:
AFP & Xerox DJDE to PDF Support
Automatically convert and render txt reports with embedded AFP and DJDE code to PDF format for printing and/or viewing within the TRMS web interface. Offered as additional licensed modules.
Subject Indexing
Create indexes that enable searching for values across multiple different reports. For example, a Policy Number that might appear in a Claim report and a Customer Statement.
Image Handling
Easily manage and search for images within TRMS and associate the image with one or more reports. For example, a single image could be part of a design document and an instruction manual, etc.
Enhanced "Quick" Installation Procedure
Simplified process makes TRMS product installation or maintenance upgrade quick and easy.
Greater Support for External Security (i.e., IBM RACF, CA-ACF2, CA-Top Secret)
Greater flexibility and granularity for securing report resources.
