Scottevest Travel Clothing Growing Quickly with Two New Major Hires

Based in Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho and founded in 2001, SeV Founder and CEO Scott Jordan has steadily built his clothing business, which is known for integrating many hidden pockets and tech-specific features into their garments. The recent hiring of two seasoned professionals is helping to round out the rapidly growing team into a dynamic entity poised to reach the next level of success.
The two new members of the team are:
Scott Desserault, CFO/COO - Scott is an experienced finance and operations executive with over 15 years of experience in high growth companies within the adventure travel, apparel and beverage industries. Most recently, Scott was CFO for EpicQuest, a premium adventure travel company specializing in activity based adventures. Scott was in charge of all financial aspects of the company including fundraising, cash management, budgeting, systems and internal controls. In addition, he managed their Sun Valley based heli ski operation.
Prior to that, Scott was the US Finance and Operations Manager for Icebreaker; a leading outdoor/lifestyle apparel brand based in New Zealand. Scott was instrumental in the formation of the US operations when the brand was introduced to the US market. Scott started his career as a CPA for Arthur Andersen, leaving to start a division of a multinational supplier to the brewing industry focusing on the emerging Craft Brewing market. Scott is a CPA (Inactive), and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration - Accounting from the University of Washington.

Jennifer Battersby, VP of Production & Sourcing - Jennifer brings 20 years of hands-on Global Apparel Production and Sourcing experience to SeV. As former SVP of Mast Industries, her extensive experience in Asia and proven record of executive leadership was honed while managing $700 million of the Victoria's Secret Stores Production Organization in Asia. Having lived overseas for much of her career, Jennifer has rebuilt and rejuvenated leadership staff into unified, top performing, highly motivated teams on both sides of the Pacific.
