Saving Our Daughters & VH1 Love & Hip Hop of Atlanta Join Forces to Stop Violence Against Girls/Women!

Online, August 13, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Saving Our Daughters, which focuses its attention on stopping the abuse, hate crimes towards women, stopping violence against women, see their collaboration with Producer Mona Scott-Youngs' VH1Love & Hip Hop of Atlanta is a celebration that brings critical issues to the attention general viewing audience worldwide.

YELL Confidence, which is youth empowered learning and leadership program, is one of Saving Our Daughters' core initiatives designed to sparks community engagement, public awareness, and the dedication to empower teens fight abuse, crimes and violence against children and women.

According to Curtis Benjamin, Executive Director, YELL! Confidence supports the Saving Our Daughters mission by working directly with focused groups of youth and young adult ladies to engage them in creative learning and leadership experiences.

There is always demand for funding from non-profits, and YELL! Confidence is no exception. Therefore, this current fundraising event was designed to get much needed funds in their coffers. "Now we are collaborating with VH1 Love & Hip Hop episode to gain funding support of YELL Confidence," says Tavia Pauling, COO of Saving Our Daughters.

Besides their collaboration with the television reality series VH1 Love & Hip Hop which resulted in the creation of a PSA video, the organization has also in place a vibrant social media and magazine promotional program in place to bring about an awareness of the plight young girls and young mothers across the country.

"We have been instrumental in helping young women who are battling the issues of crime and violence build self-esteem and self-worth," notes the organization's spokesperson, claiming their donation drive will be the first of its kind viewed on reality show television, to empower young women from violence towards women and to stop hate crimes towards women.
