Save-An-Angel Presents "Yappy Hour" to Benefit Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation

Save-An-Angel presents "Yappy Hour at The Bulldog" on Thursday August 15th to benefit the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs in need and will include a silent auction and raffle.

The Save-An-Angel foundation, a non-profit animal rescue organization, presents "Yappy Hour at The Bulldog" on Thursday August 15th from 5PM to 7pm at The Bulldog on 5135 Canal Boulevard in Mid-City, New Orleans, Louisiana. "Yappy Hour" is a happy hour event designed to benefit the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs in need and will include a silent auction and raffle of numerous valuable prizes. 20% of all sales and bar tips between 5pm-7pm will be donated to Save-An-Angel. Donations from the event help provide food, medicine and veterinary support as well as resources to rescue additional dogs from "high-kill" shelters in the area. Additional funds help support the Save-An-Angel cancer fund for canine lymphoma research.

Silent auction and raffle items include: a one night stay for two at the historic Hotel Monteleone and lunch for two at Criollo, a gift certificate for Doggy Daycare at Mid City Animal House, a liquor basket from Tales of The Cocktail and gift cards for spa treatments and goods at local shops and attractions. Previous Yappy Hour events raised up to $1000, which organizers hope to exceed. Facebook event page at: https://www.facebook.com/events/692801980734649/

The Save-An-Angel foundation was originally created to benefit dogs diagnosed with cancer, by providing education, support and access to state-of-the-art treatments. The founders, Kristie and Johnny Sullens, along with the volunteer "Save-An-Angel Saints" have since evolved the organization to provide rescue and rehabilitation to dogs in need, placing animals in foster homes and supporting the efforts of other local animal rescue organizations.
