The Basque Country’s original gourmet tour company, San Sebastián Food, introduces a line of cooking courses and brand new culinary experiences to its extensive list of food and wine offerings centered in Basque culinary culture.  The San Sebastián Food Cooking School is the world’s most in-depth center of learning for Basque cuisine for amateur and novice cooks, and the new line-up of classes only reinforces this position:

-2 to 7 Day Cooking Courses: Multiple day courses with cooking classes that form a true immersion into local cooking culture.

Along with the new offerings, San Sebastián Food also maintains its perennial favorites, such as the Pintxo Tasting Tour, a guided tour of the old town’s best pintxo bars.  The Iberian Ham and Sherry Tasting Experience is led by a master sommelier and certified jamón ibérico carver, uncovering two of the country’s top treasures in a class unique in all of Spain.

The San Sebastián Food Cooking School is located in the center of town, two blocks from the famous parte vieja of San Sebastián. The center’s main space is its 500 m2 cooking school, a large, open room with nine totally outfitted cooking spaces and the latest kitchen technology. However, the center also has a dining room and wine tasting room, a bar, an event space, and a multipurpose room. The San Sebastián Food Gourmet Shop is located upstairs in the Hotel María Cristina, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
