Sacro Capital Investors Have a lot to be Thankful for This Holiday Season
New York, November 7, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The fourth quarter is already shaping up to be a strong one for Sacro Capital Group. (SCG), and investors have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season as a result.
October was an exceptional month for the company, with an impressive 11.14% returns during that one-month period. That trend appears to be continuing through November, with a 5% gain already on the books.
Not only that, but SCG is significantly outperforming the S&P 500, which produced an overall gain of 2.32% in October, which indicates that SCG is not just riding a general wave in the market, but rather is benefitting from its unique market position.
According to the owner of SCG, Jonas Brown, the company’s impressive performance during the first half of Q4 is in part to the two top performers in the portfolio to Alibaba (BABA) and Boise Cascade Company (BCC).
Alibaba is a Chinese-based company that was initially founded in 1999 and now operates internationally, primarily in the online and mobile commerce sector. They recently went public, and have been rapidly growing their customer base and offered services. Some of the most significant services offered by Alibaba to businesses are in their cloud computing platform, as well as web hosting and DNS. They also serve as an intermediary between buyers and sellers through their trusted escrow service. SCANA Corp. has benefitted significantly from Alibaba’s success and recent expansion.
Boise Cascade Company is an Idaho-based manufacturing company that primarily produces wood products throughout the United States and Canada. Their buyers primarily consist of wholesalers, retail lumberyards, industrial plants, and home improvement stores. They produce both specialized and modular components, including laminated veneer lumber, laminated beams, and l-joists, and they also produce non-wood products such as insulation, roofing, and composite materials. BCC’s products are ultimately used in the construction, remodeling, and repair of single and multi-family homes.
Thanks to both BABA and BCC, SCG is looking forward to finishing Q4 as strongly as it began. Hopefully, investors will have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
