Accommodation Management Company 80 Minute Game Ltd is gearing up for the influx of bookings expected for places to stay during the Rugby World Cup 2011, in September and October 2011. The company this week launched the latest incarnation of its website, www.80minutegame.com, aimed at helping supporters looking for private accommodation in the location they want during the Tournament.
The new website has been developed with the assistance of well known holiday home website AABookabach, and house listings appear on both websites effectively doubling the exposure for home owners who have put their houses up for rent during the tournament.
"Now we have a system in place that is geared towards international fans looking for private accommodation, we are actively marketing overseas to make sure our houses get the best exposure. We've got houses listed around the country and are still looking for properties in Wellington, Christchurch and in the pool games locations - Invercargill, Rotorua, New Plymouth, Whangarei, Dunedin, Hamilton, Nelson, Napier, and Palmerston North," said Managing Director Sue Robinson.
Sue said that with ticket sales about to get underway she has been fielding enquiries from the main rugby nations in Europe and the Pacific, as well as the USA. "There has been a perception that accommodation is scarce and expensive but we're confident that we'll be able to meet the needs of our clients at a price they can afford. I think New Zealand will get behind the Tournament and give visitors an experience they won't forget."
