RPGSHOW and Karen Huger, LLC Donate Thousands of Masks to MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Fight Against COVID-19

Karen Huger and RPGSHOW Announce Donation

RPGSHOW, a leading provider of luxury wigs, in partnership with Karen Huger, LLC have joined hands to support hospitals in the fight against COVID-19.

Karen Huger, a business leader and star of "Real Housewives of Potomac," coordinated the effort to donate medical masks to MedStar Washington Hospital Center. RPGSHOW matched this donation for a total of 4,000 masks.

Hospital Chief Philanthropy Officer Harvey Green explained how vital these supplies are at this time. Karen Huger stated that as soon as the pandemic hit the metropolitan D.C. area, she knew she had to do something stating, “I am honored to be able to have my business Karen Huger, LLC in partnership with RPGSHOW being able to donate thousands of masks to the frontline workers of MedStar Washington Hospital Center.”

This is the third response towards COVID-19 relief efforts that RPGSHOW has made during the pandemic. In addition to supporting all of its partner stylists and consultants with masks and hygiene products, RPGSHOW has mobilized the donations to hospitals in need all over the country. Some of these hospitals include the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, the NYU Langone Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Health System in New York City.

“After dealing with the outbreak here in China and knowing how helpless we felt, we were motivated and empowered to help the medical facilities who were in dire need of masks and other PPE. We have a great relationship with Karen Huger, so the collaboration was natural. We are grateful to Karen for being able to quickly identify MedStar Washington Hospital Center that was in need,” stated Yolanda Yuan, who oversees the operation of RPGSHOW.
