Romy Mortensen Joins West Bend Property Company Board

Developer of NorthWest Crossing in Bend, Oregon adds Brooks Resources representative to board

West Bend Property Company, which is developing the Bend, Oregon neighborhood of NorthWest Crossing, announced the addition of Romy Mortensen to its board of directors. Mortensen, who is the vice president of sales and marketing for Brooks Resources, joined the board to replace Kirk Schueler, who recently took a position at St. Charles Health System. Brooks Resources is the managing partner for West Bend Property Company.

Mike Hollern, CEO of Brooks Resources, said, "Romy brings her positive energy and great sense of humor to the West Bend board, along with her expertise in developing communities. In addition, she is a resident of NorthWest Crossing and is able to share that perspective with the rest of our team."

Mortensen's responsibilities as a board member include: working with other board members to establish policies and objectives for the company; managing West Bend Property Company staff; reviewing and approving budget and development items; and providing accounting to stakeholders on company performance. Mortensen also serves on the board for Oregon Public Broadcasting, High Desert Bank and Friends With Flowers.

West Bend Property Company LLC is a joint partnership of Brooks Resources Corporation and Tennant Family Limited Partnership. The company began development of NorthWest Crossing in 1999, with the first residents moving into the neighborhood in 2001.
