Rodney Lough Jr. To Unveil Latest Masterpiece

Rodney Lough Jr will release his first new image of 2013, Cathedral Forest, at his One Jefferson Gallery in San Francisco on May 24th from 6-8:30 PM

Master Wilderness Photographer Rodney Lough Jr. is set to unveil his newest masterpiece, Cathedral Forest. This is his first new image release of 2013, and he wants you to join him. The event will take place on the 24th of May, from 6-8:30 PM, in the Rodney Lough Jr. - Wilderness Collection Gallery located at One Jefferson in the heart of beautiful San Francisco, California!

Rodney will be present at the opening to mingle and personally sign copies of his latest award winning book - Stand Here. It's bound to be a wonderful evening of music, drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

Cathedral Forest was taken outside of The Dalles, Oregon. It depicts a stunning grove of poplars glowing golden in the height of their Fall splendor. About it, Rodney has written:

"This forest is a cathedral, a holy place filled with light. It even has an arched roof, and a lot of gold.

Cathedrals built by man are meant to last forever. Man constructs them from stone and earth, and the task can take centuries. They can stand for millennia, but they won't last for all of time. Nothing made by man does.

The glowing yellow leaves won't last a month, the poplar trees will probably be gone in a century. But the sacred places of nature are eternal."

Rodney Lough Jr. owns the largest single artist gallery in the world and his catalogue of spectacular photos has garnered him, among many other awards and accolades, honors from the US Senate and the United Nations. Renowned for the vibrant colors and vivid textures of his wilderness and landscape photography, Rodney is a purist who captures what nature creates, using no color filters or darkroom deception.
