Holly Newton Swift's paintings and drawings represent her exploration of the interconnection of rock and water. Much of her work is done on location on the North Shore of Lake Superior. She has taught painting and drawing at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and Hamline University and holds an MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work is found in many private and public collections.

Steven Ayres said the exhibition was a spontaneous impulse that grew into a pretty cool idea. "We're really excited to be located in this highly creative environment, so we decided to bring an exhibition space onboard as a way of establishing a real connection with the energy of the art around us."
