RKFMA offers mass media and art training opportunities at Delhi University

Media plays a very important role in India, the largest democracy of the world and it is considered the Fourth Estate.

To provide training that would open more career opportunities in the field of media the Delhi University in collaboration with R.K.Films and Media Academy has started a number of sort term courses for training the youths in the field of media and entertainment.
Mr. N.C. Bansal, Chairman, R. K. Films and Media Academy says that the courses offered include such innovative fields like Radio Jockeying, TV news reading, theater acting and presentation, 2D and 3D animation.
In Radio Jockeying the training is given on hands -on practical exposure in the news rooms and Studio environment making them aware of nuances such as scripting, writing radio jingles, handing interviews, voice pitch & diction.
The theater acting & presentation course, on the other hand, aims at makings students aware of body language, diction, expression, voice modulation, dialogue delivery besides facing the camera.
Students of Delhi University are eligible to apply for the course. Students of School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) would be given preference in admissions. The course is also open to former students of DU. The forms for admission are available at the COL campus, Keshavpuram Centre.

The Academy is taking up production of radio & T.V. programs for the benefit & exposure of its students. Graduating students are also given access to their demo show reels after they complete their course helping them to show an A/V profile during their interviews.
