Riverpoint Management Enjoys Retreat, Builds Team
Riverpoint Management's Director of Operations described a recent retreat to Las Vegas and the associates she took with her to the event. She also shared a few of her favorite tips for smoother travel.
PITTSBURGH, PA , November 25, 2016 (Newswire.com) - We have made team member recognition a core element of the Riverpoint Management culture,” stated Kelly, the firm’s Director of Operations. “This recognition takes many forms, including exciting travel incentives. We recently attended a rest and relaxation retreat in Las Vegas to show our people just how much we value their hard work and dedication.” The retreat offered plenty of networking potential and featured an award ceremony, at which Kelly was nominated for Consistency Owner of the Year. “Of over 100 executives, I was one of five nominated!”
The Director took several Riverpoint Management associates with her to Las Vegas. She explained, “I brought Sarah, Triston, Liz, Jake, and Chris with me to the retreat. These folks are some of our top-performing reps, and it was the first such event for most of them. It was Liz’s second R&R, and her first since last year’s trip to the Bahamas when she was still an intern.” All attendees have been achieving great results in recent months, and Sarah is pushing to reach the assistant manager level.
The Riverpoint Management contingent also enjoyed plenty of leisure activities during the retreat. Kelly commented, “We did a lot of sight-seeing, and we also did our share of relaxing by the pool and eating at great restaurants. Our people experienced Mandalay Bay Aquarium, New York New York roller coasters, Circus Circus, and Cirque du Soleil. We even zip-lined and braved the Stratosphere ride.”

There are other travel opportunities coming up for Riverpoint Management associates, including trips to Nashville and St. Louis for training. The company also has a rep currently in California running a show.
Riverpoint Management’s Director of Operations Shares Tips for Easier Business Travel
Kelly has a few proven tips that ease travel a bit for her Riverpoint Management associates. She explained, “I have logged enough miles to pick up a few helpful travel insights, and many of the best relate to packing. If you have a roomy carry-on bag that’s flexible enough to be squished into overhead bins, you’ve already won half the battle.” The Director added that not having to worry about lost luggage is a huge plus for business travelers.
“I remind our Riverpoint Management team members to stay as healthy as possible when they’re on the road,” the Director remarked. “That means drinking lots of water and it’s also a good idea to make time for exercise when you’re away from home, even if it’s just a brisk walk around your hotel. You’ll sleep better and feel less exhausted at the end of the trip if you keep up some type of active routine.”
