Rimini Street Delivers Global Tax, Legal & Regulatory Updates

Rimini Street, Inc. announced today delivery of its Tax, Legal and Regulatory Update 2010-E for the United States and Canada.

Rimini Street, Inc., the leading third-party maintenance and support provider for enterprise software, including Oracle Corporation's (NASDAQ: ORCL) Siebel, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and E-Business Suite software, and SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) software, today announced delivery of its Tax, Legal and Regulatory Update 2010-E for the United States and Canada. As in all previous releases, Rimini Street has delivered tax, legal and regulatory updates ahead of the software vendors' own planned release dates for equivalent updates.

Tax, Legal and Regulatory Update 2010-E includes numerous North American payroll tax changes for U.S. and Canadian clients that will keep them in compliance with all applicable tax, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as assist them in their preparation for 2010 year-end processing. The updates include changes to unemployment withholding for 2011 and quarterly tax reporting updates at the state level, along with local tax changes for several states, including Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

At the U.S. federal level, the update includes enhanced support for the new Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment (HIRE) Act, which provides employers with an exemption from the employer's share of social security tax on wages paid to qualifying employees. Through delivery of the third bundle of support for the HIRE Act, Rimini Street builds on previously delivered updates that will enable employers to easily identify, track, report on, and obtain credit for eligible employees.
