Ride Minnesota Now Available on Kindle
Online, July 30, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Ride Minnesota, 23 Great Motorcycle Rides in the North Star State, is now available as an e-book. Author Cynthia Lueck Sowden uploaded the book to Kindle July 29.
The book describes 23 scenic motorcycle routes in Minnesota. The author and her husband spent two summers researching the book, circumnavigating the state and setting foot in all four corners. The book describes road conditions along the various routes, and relates some of the couple's experiences. Snippets of Minnesota history are laced throughout the book as various historic sites are encountered. Ride Minnesota also contains photos, maps, recommendations for places to stay, eat and explore and Minnesota motorcycle laws.
Ride Minnesota was published in paperback form in April 2013 and has a cover price of $10. It is available from the author or through several websites, including Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. The e-book edition downloads from Amazon for $4.99.
Cynthia Lueck Sowden was born and raised in Minneapolis. She received her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota and has worked in corporate communications, public relations and advertising for more than 30 years. She began freelancing after the birth of her daughter, and has written more than 100 magazine articles for various publications, including RoadRUNNER , a motorcycle touring magazine. She is the author of two previous books, Wedding Occasions: 101 New Party Themes for Wedding Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, Engagement Parties and More! and An Anniversary to Remember: Celebrations for the Years One to Seventy-Five. She also contributed chapters to Masters of Sales by Ivan Misner and Don Morgan, and How I Got the Gig, edited by Susan Carter. Ride Minnesota is her third book.
