Retail Buying Service Website Adds New Features

Retailers now can see item feedback, get tradeshow schedules, industry articles and more at BuyerAtLarge.com

BuyerAtLarge.com, a subscription-based website designed to help small retailers find new product ideas for their stores, has announced several new features to their site.

"We're always trying to find ways to help retailers save time," says President Christine Jaeger. "These new features are just another way we can add value to their experience with Buyer at Large."

The site's new features include:

NEWSWIRE: Read industry news from leading trade journals in the retail shop and boutique industry. Articles are organized by product category - such as apparel and accessories, home, toys, and more. This new section also lets you view upcoming tradeshow schedules.

SHOP TALK: Jaeger describes this new section of the website as "a meeting place to find product information, trade show highlights, and vendor promotions - such as who is offering free shipping - product information, and news. Our customers can post a comment about a particular item, or read comments from other customers. It's a great way to find out what's working for others, and put in a link to connect to your Facebook page."

Within individual item listings, a retail customer can also now click on a new button to find more items from a particular vendor. And as the site grows, items are now further sub-divided into store types and market segments, such as Hospital, Antique Style, Lake/Cabin/Beach, etc.

"We've been in business now just four months, and the overall reaction is extremely positive," says Jaeger. "So the site is constantly evolving to make sure we're the go-to resource for small retail shops."

New subscribers to BuyeratLarge.com will also receive a free mini subscription to Gift Shop Magazine, a $22.50 value.

BuyeratLarge.com researches and presents new and unique wholesale products to retail store buyers through an online subscription service. The site's merchandising team weeds through thousands of vendor catalogs and websites, selecting only those items that are top-selling, new to market, award-winning or have an exceptional design quality or story.
