Dr. Hendricks has served for more than 35 years as one of the major contributors to the fields of relationship transformation and body-mind therapies. He received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Stanford in 1974, and after a 21-year career as a professor of Counseling Psychology at University Colorado, he and his wife Kathlyn founded The Hendricks Institute, which is based in Ojai, California and offers seminars worldwide.
In the interview, Dr. Hendricks talks about what he describes as the upper limit problem, which is when people feel a certain level of happiness or financial abundance, and then knock themselves down. He explains why this happens and how to overcome this self-sabotaging behavior.
