Online, May 13, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Airexstream is an extended temperature range wireless H.264/AAC Video & Audio bridge intended for professional usage that provides the QoS of a wired solution and is specifically designed for fixed and mobile professional applications.
Its radio platform is derived from our military SDR (Software Defined Radio) which makes it fully reprogrammable; it is powered by HSBRA™ (High Speed Broadband Radio Access) and Clancast™ Hybrid MESH technologies, developed by Reicom Technical Department.
Airexstream operates in license-free radio bands according to latest mobile Wi-Fi international standards IEEE 802.11p and DSRC. It is available @ 2.4 GHz up to 200mW.
The protection grade is IP42 and soon IP68 for trouble free installation.
Airexstream integrates aboard an extended range H.264 codec and a high quality stereo AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) audio channel.
It operates from -20°C to +70°C working in very harsh electromagnetic and mechanical environment.

The radio is fully reprogrammable thanks to its SDR platform which provides the product with an extended life cycle.

The included H.264 codec is an adaptive, real extended range codec able to change resolution, bit rate, frame rate and many other parameters while running, without needing to restart the system and, therefore, without interrupting its service.
