MyFord Touch has been added to the Flex for the first time, featuring the updated 2.0 version of the system. This updated system has been developed to be more responsive and legible than ever before. The 8" in-dash touch screen is capable of controlling media, navigation, cell phone functions and climate control. The 2.0 MyFord Touch system aboard the 2013 Flex can recognize over 10,000 voice commands, allowing the driver a hands-free experience.
Two V6 engine options are available for the 2013 Flex, including an EcoBoost 3.5-liter paired with a standard 6-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The efficieny of Ford's EcoBoost technology allows the 2013 Flex to get 25 miles-per-gallon on the freeway while still hefting 355 horsepower and pulling 350 lbs-feet of torque.
