Reasons 2 Rhyme presents the first MoSoul Poetry Festival of the 2010 Series

Greensboro (June 16, 2010)-Reasons 2 Rhyme will host the first MoSoul Poetry Festival of the 2010 series. The MoSoul Poetry Festival is going to be held on Friday and Saturday, June 25-26 and will feature 10 poets from across the state of North Carolina.
The MoSoul Poetry Festival is a two-day festival that fuses three events that will begin on Friday, June 25. The first event is the community outreach program that Reasons 2 Rhyme has coordinated with local recreation centers: Brown, Folk, Trotter and Peeler as well as the McGirt Horton Library for the poets to perform for children. This event is FREE andOPEN to the public. Later that evening, the poets will perform at the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center for MoSoul at Midnight, for a special blend of late night poetry with tickets only $10.
On Saturday, June 26, the main performance of the MoSoul Poetry Festival will take place at Festival Park, located on 200 N. Davie St, in downtown Greensboro from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. For the June edition of the MoSoul Poetry Festival, Reasons 2 Rhyme is recognizing and showing appreciation for non-profits for their service in the community. In addition, there will be live music and vendors. All ages are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets for an exciting afternoon of spoken word. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public.
Reasons 2 Rhyme creator and host, Josephus III has worked diligently to make every event for Reasons 2 Rhyme a must see event in Greensboro, N.C. This year for the 2010 series, Josephus has doubled the size of the venues and audience, expanding the opportunity for poetry to be seen and heard.
