Real Estate Society Turns Real Estate Industry Upside Down by Offering Sellers Free MLS Listings.

Charleston, SC - As the real-estate market continues to remain stagnant, The Real Estate Society is doing the unthinkable. They are listing homes on the local MLS and Realtor.com for free and giving 1/2 of their commission to buyers.

The Real Estate Society is offering to sellers to list their property free on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) with full real estate brokerage services. Currently over 70 percent of all U.S. properties are sold by the using the MLS. The normal MLS listing costs 2-3 percent and can only be executed by a Realtor.

Under this new program sellers get the full real estate brokerage services, which contain local MLS with multiple photos and even a home movie video, that will appear on Realtor.com, the largest database of homes for sale, as well as on services such as AOL, Trulia, Google, and MSN. A toll-free number, voice mail and yard signs are provided with each listing for inquiries. The Real Estate Society then calls, pre-qualifies, and sets up showings.

Real Estate Society CEO George Turner has big plans to change the real estate industry. "I owned a very large real estate franchise on the east coast and witnessed the amount of wasteful dollars being spent. I knew there had to be a better way to do real estate that would save the seller tens of thousands and also make it profitable as a business model. This is a huge savings for the average seller when you take into consideration that there is about $67 billion annually in real estate commissions each year."

So how do they make a profit? The sellers have to purchase a new home and they will need a new mortgage when they sell their home. In return of giving a full MLS brokerage listing service they ask for the opportunity to compete for the new mortgage, and they ask to represent them as the buying agent on the new home. The seller of the new home pays not them.

The service is initially launching in South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, and Virginia and with in the next 12 months plans to have services in every state in the U.S.
