The Randall's Island Park Alliance (RIPA) will honor The Governors Ball Music Festival, one of the City’s premier music, arts and food festivals, as well as Olympic gold medalist and FIFA Women’s World Cup champion Carli Lloyd, at its Fielding Dreams Gala on March 13, 2019 at 6:30 P.M. at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.

We are excited to honor both The Governors Ball Music Festival and Carli Lloyd at this year’s Gala,” said Aimee Boden, President of Randall's Island Park Alliance. “Governors Ball is a cornerstone event for us that energizes the Island as we head into the busy summer season, and Carli’s accomplishments on and off the soccer field are nothing short of awe-inspiring and motivating.”

Boden added, “For close to 27 years, RIPA, along with assistance from the City of New York, various local communities and our devoted, generous supporters, has helped to transform Randall's Island Park into an exciting destination for sports, recreation, environmental exploration, and cultural events. None of that is possible without the generous support of our trustees, business and community partners at events like our Annual Gala.”
