JAIPUR, India, August 3, 2021 (Newswire.com) - Global Centre for Entrepreneurship and Commerce (GCEC) a constituent body of Vivekananda Global University today announced the launch of its BBA Liberal Studies program, which is the first such BBA in Rajasthan bridging the gap between multidisciplinary education and business.
CBSE 12th board results have been announced recently, and now more than 12 lakh students in the country are planning to take admission to various colleges to fulfill their dreams. Also, the New Education Policy 2020 just completed one year, and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on 29 July 2021 addressed the nation stating that programs under the new policy have the potential to change India's fate, and on the same day multiple entry and exit guidelines were also announced.
GCEC, keeping in line with the Policy, has decided to introduce a new course where students will have the flexibility to choose their subjects and design their course as per their choice. Internationally, students get to select various specialisations across subjects and streams, which is not the usual case in India.
This new course has some very unique features which allow students to select subjects from humanities, commerce, science and vocational studies with a base of management knowledge. Unlike all other liberal studies courses in India, this is a business course where students will study a variety of subjects and design innovative business solutions.
In this course, a variety of creative and engaging class activities will be organised, and students will be able to choose from a bucket of courses ranging from music production, foreign languages, design, UIUX, mass communication, startups, digital marketing, coding, data analytics, agriculture, app development, mathematics, economics, psychology, accounting, business management and many other courses. Students will be instructed and trained to understand the relationship between humanities, science, commerce and vocational studies through this course.
GCEC Founder Mr. Paresh Gupta quoted, "With this new course, a student can now learn, for e.g., technology, music and business together and create a startup which helps artists through technology. Multi-disciplinary education with business knowledge will allow flexibility to the students to design the future of startups in India."
GCEC is a college founded by a husband and wife duo who returned back to India and started this college to change the face of undergraduate education in India. The college is based in Jaipur and has been a pioneer in introducing new-age courses, open-book exams, case study based curriculum and three-year mandatory practical training for all its students. The college has recently won several awards for its innovative academic approach.
