'Radiant' Art Exhibit Featuring the Art of Pamela Macedo
COSTA MESA, Calif., December 8, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Preferred Graphics Art & Framing is pleased to present an exclusive exhibition of new work featuring artist Pamela Macedo. The “Radiant” exhibit consisting of dynamic landscape and flowers will run from Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, through Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, with a grand inaugural reception on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017. The evening will begin with the VIP unveiling of Pamela Macedo’s latest works followed by a “meet-and-greet” paired with complimentary champagne, wine, and hors d’ oeuvres.
Pamela discovered her love of painting as a child. She would borrow her father’s paint and brushes to paint a painting on an old piece of wood or a wall in her bedroom. At night she would fall asleep watching him paint. The morning light would reveal that a bright orange sunset had replaced the white void of canvas from the night before. Her father inspired Pamela to paint and his influence is still present in her work.
Pamela is a self-taught artist and has experimented with several different styles and mediums in her quest to create something uniquely hers. “I believe that there are three parts that make up who we are – they are our physical beings, our spirits, and our intellects. Using paint, brush, and canvas the artist struggles to communicate using one, two or all three of these perspectives. The most important aspect of creating art is to relax and have fun. The canvas or a lump of clay is an opportunity to play and to create your own world.” Pamela’s murals and paintings are in private collections and commercial locations throughout California and Hawaii.
