RACE Bharat Calls for Private Sector and NGOs to Work Together for Meeting India Vision 2020

Race Bharat is a tribute to our inspiration, late President Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, and to help achieve his India Vision 2020 – develop India by 2020. Following his footsteps and vision to bring India at par with the developed world, Arsym has developed RACE Bharat initiative to bring together industry veterans, scholars, and practitioners from the fields of Re-engineering, Analytics, CSR and Education together in this unique movement to help meet India Vision 2020.

On the initiative, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Honorable Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, shared, "Arsym RACE Bharat is a commendable initiative to build a brighter India through re-engineering, analytics, CSR, and education. It is bringing in thought leaders from corporate, academia, NGOs and research community towards India's inclusive growth. It marks a tribute to legendary late Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Ji, who has played a pivotal role as a scientist, teacher, mentor and social worker”.

Speaking on the initiative, Balbir Singh Nayyar, Chairman Arsym said, “RACE Bharat is an initiative for collaborating thought leaders for India’s growth. For India to achieve India Vision 2020, the private sector needs to contribute more. We need to take both rural and urban India together.”

RACE stands for – Re-engineering, Analytics, CSR, and Education – the four main pillars that are identified to take India forward. All these require close cooperation of private sector and NGOs, which this initiative aims to achieve.

Manmeet Singh Nayyar, CEO, Arsym and Deokant Payasi, COO, Arsym illustrated all the issues that are an impediment to India’s growth and development. They shared the strategy of identifying and eliminating these issues with the cooperation of Corporate India and NGOs.

Trustsphere, world’s leading company in Relationship Analytics, announced its entry into India and to offer the solution for Indian enterprises. According to Manish Goel, CEO, Trustsphere, Relationship Analytics will help India use its social strength for the benefit of the country. It will also help in transforming businesses not just to be more competitive but also contribute more to the society.

Jane Schukoske – CEO , Sehgal Foundation, lauded the effort of Arsym in bringing forward RACE Bharat. She called for corporate India and other NGOs to join the initiative and work towards India’s growth. She also shared some of the innovations that the corporate India can join in. She shared the examples of some of India’s districts lagging in all parameters and how the foundation was able to bring about a transformation.

Yo Scientist, an initiative to bring a focus on practical experience, innovation and research at a primary level was also announced at the event. It was also agreed to immediate work towards addressing the digital divide, especially in rural and urban India.

Manmeet Singh Nayyar, CEO, Arsym also shared while it’s commendable that India has become the first country to make CSR mandatory, it is just followed by 18% of the corporations. God has given the money for humans and humans should spend for the society. He shared that India should not become a global economic power with contradictions.
