Quest for the Crown: The New Ms Mall of Georgia Announced
Online, September 4, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Stella Entertainment announces that their delegate, Shane Smith, has been selected as Ms Mall of Georgia 2011 - 2012. Held over Labor Day Weekend, The Mall of Georgia Pageant took place on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Mountain View High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
The Mall of Georgia Pageant is apart of the Georgia Pageant system, directed by Patricia Ragsdale. The organization hosts preliminary pageants to the Miss Georgia and Miss America pageants. "I'm honored to have been chosen as Ms Mall of Georgia 2011 - 2012. I look forward to supporting the pageant organization in its efforts to empower and encourage women." Smith said. "This will also be a great opportunity for me to advocate for causes and charities that I am passionate about. And I'm so fortunate to have the support of Stella Entertainment, and my official wardrobe stylist, Stephanie Ludwig."
As the new Ms MGA, Shane Smith plans to use her crown to support the local community through a variety of methods from appearances to charity participation. She has great experience in the public eye as an international performer, and her experience has spanned the globe. Her next goal is to take home the title of Ms United States, and she is currently seeking sponsors to aid her in her quest.
In the meantime, the new Ms Mall of Georgia already has her hands full. She is currently in rehearsal for Clubesque, a cabaret stage show that will take place on Saturday, September 24th at 14th Street Playhouse. And Smith will also be a guest instructor for Jazz Cabaret at Dance 101 on Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th from 2 PM - 3 PM. The classes are open for all adults.
