Quartz Properties Takes Home Two Prestigious NAHB Awards

Offsite Builder of the Year and Excellence in Home Design

Quartz at Poncha Meadows Community

Quartz Properties is elated to announce their dual victory at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Building Systems Housing Summit held earlier this month in Washington, D.C. Quartz was selected as Offsite Construction Specialty Awards Builder of the Year and secured the Building Systems Council (BSC) Jerry Rouleau Award for Excellence in Home Design for “The Grays.”

The accolades recognize the impact Quartz is making across the residential modular construction space. “Every award we receive is a validation of our team's dedication, vision, and hard work. It's an honor to be acknowledged for our contribution to the industry,” said Quartz Founder and CEO Joanna Schwartz. The company was also named Offsite Builder of the Year in 2022. This is its first time receiving home design recognition.

Founded in 2017, Quartz Properties is deeply invested in the success and development of offsite residential construction. The NAHB awards highlight Quartz’s recent efforts, which include expanded offerings and additions to a catalog of home designs conducive to modular success.

Quartz launched a transportation and set business, Quartz Transport, after observing a deficit in services supporting offsite construction. The vertically integrated company also continues to build out their North Carolina-based construction subsidiary, Quartz Modular. Beyond these services, Quartz is collaborating with offsite experts Module to build a comprehensive training program focusing on modular home setting services for which there is currently little professional training available.

David Roover, Chief Growth Officer and Partner at Quartz Properties, who oversees both endeavors, expressed his excitement about the wins: "We're thrilled to be recognized for our dedication to raising the bar in the modular construction industry."

Quartz was awarded the BSC Jerry Rouleau Awards for Home Design Modular Construction, under 2,000 sq. ft for the house The Grays. The house is one of four floor plans featured in the Quartz at Poncha Meadows community in Poncha Springs, Colorado. Manufactured by Fading West Building Systems, The Grays is a mid-sized mountain modern home in a stunning setting. The three-bedroom, two-bath 1,800-sq-ft. house offers residents a flexible, open layout with plentiful storage and ample opportunity to enjoy scenic views.
