PureVPN Is at the Forefront of the Cybersecurity Battle

The VPN brand plans to roll out cybersecurity tools in order to protect its users' online footprints.

PureVPN plans to offer new cybersecurity tools to protect a greater part of its users' online footprint. The new tools are expected to be rolled out by the end of this year.

These four tools include an encrypted email extension that layers on top of users' existing emailing service, a social media tool that automatically sets the ideal privacy and security settings, a password manager to keep all passwords safe and secure in one place, and an ad blocker to block annoying and deceptive ads.

The online world today is much different than it used to be back when PureVPN was born. Today, the massive use of social media, search engines, chat services and email services, etc., has created a scenario where the sensitive data of people is easily accessible to ISPs, online businesses, and third-party agencies - many of which thrive on gathering the data from their users.

"The attack surface for the privacy- and the security-conscious consumer has multiplied in size many times over," Uzair Gadit, CEO of PureVPN, mentioned in a recent interview on Forbes.

"We're at a point where people are looking for a much more holistic level of security and privacy," Uzair Gadit argues.

By launching these cybersecurity tools, PureVPN aims to move towards offering holistic cybersecurity. This move perfectly matches PureVPN's vision to offer complete cybersecurity to its users.

"PureVPN was founded on the idea that people should be free to use the internet the way it was envisioned by the founders of the World Wide Web," says Uzair Gadit. "What we're now working towards is a new vision of holistic privacy and security," he says.
