Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education and Advocacy Announces March 2017 Family-Centered Training Course
Wantagh, NY, February 15, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education and Advocacy (Pulse CPSEA — formerly PULSE of NY) is pleased to announce its next Family-Centered Patient Advocacy course. It will be held over three weeks in March 2017 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY.
Pulse President Ilene Corina, who will teach the course, asks, “Have you ever wondered how you, as a patient, might communicate better with members of the medical profession? Have you been an advocate for a friend or family member and had to support them as they navigated the health care system? Or maybe you have thought about becoming a professional patient advocate.”
