ProSymmetry Releases New Customer-Driven Features and Enhancements in Tempus Resource 5.2

Sean Pales gave a special preview and demo of version 5.2 at the Tempus Resource 2020 European Virtual Conference on October 8, offering attendees a deep dive into a host of improvements, enhancements, redesigns, added features, and new capabilities.
Two brand new features include Global Search, giving users the ability to quickly and securely perform searches across their entire Tempus environment and Portfolio Planner, a new reporting and analytical engine. Designed for maximum flexibility and future enhancements, Portfolio Planner allows users to conduct project prioritization with multi-criteria scoring, evaluate existing or new portfolios under resource constraints, and identify what can or cannot fit into their portfolio given those constraints. Able to be used as its own decision support analytic, its own what-if engine, or connected to the Tempus What-If tool, Portfolio Planner’s powerful algorithms and force-in and force-out capabilities show users the real impact of multiple portfolio options.
Among the other numerous Tempus Resource 5.2 updates and enhancements, highlights include an editable and interactive Kanban View; portfolio Gantt-style view; new view and layout flexibility in Bulk Project Allocation (BPA) and BPA Flatgrid; ability to search, insert, and replace with skills matrix data; a redesigned resource replace functionality; new security entitlement settings to individually grant or restrict Planned and Actual dataset access; and Report Folders to structure, organize, globally configure, and move reports with ease and security.
