Producer Dean Altit of DNF Pictures and Alan Hwang of South Korea DoorPost Media a motion picture producer, today announced a multi-picture deal in which the two companies will together produce English language films for the global market. Under the agreement, the two companies will develop, produce and secure worldwide distribution. The slate will include several animation film projects as well as a TV serie and 2 live action films to be shot entierly in South Korea. Moving into physical production is a natural progression of our economic and creative growth pattern at DOOR POSt Media  and working with Dean on a slate of exciting properties is a perfect fit,” states producer Alan Hwang. 

The films released under this partnership will combine both companies understanding of production, distribution and audience preferences in international expertise to create movies that satisfy audiences’ growing demand for blockbuster characteristics. According to new statistics from IHS Screen Digest, Asia is driving global box office growth. Ticket sales in the Asia-Pacific region grew 6.7% last year, almost double the 3.5% average. Meanwhile, audiences in East Asia's biggest markets — China, Japan and South Korea.

Dean Altit whom recently brokered the joint venture of Malaysia’s Triple Hue Media with South Korea’s Macrograph, the award winning visual effects firm that created all the visual effects for Hollywood blockbuster “Forbidden Kingdom”. The merger brings together over 150 premier digital artists and producers, making Hue-MG one of the largest and most talented VFX companies in Malaysia.
