IFA USA New York Region International Tax Seminar on Tax Cuts and Job Act
NEW YORK, July 11, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The USA Branch of the International Fiscal Association, Inc. (IFA USA) will be hosting a New York Regional International Tax Seminar on Thursday, July 26, 2018.
The seminar will address a number of key topics related to the recently enacted Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
The seminar will include a discussion of foreign tax credit in the US tax system following the enactment of the TCJA with speakers Patrick Brown, The General Electric Company, Jose Murillo, Ernst & Young, Pat Jackman, KPMG, and Michael Caballero, Covington & Burling.
Danielle Rolfes, KPMG LLP, Erika W. Nijenhuis, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, David Hariton, Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and Paul Oosterhuis, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP are to highlight planning opportunities and uncertainties under the BEAT Regime.
Mark Prater, PwC LLP, former Deputy Staff Director and Chief Tax Counsel of the Senate Finance Committee will present a behind the scenes look on the legislative process.
