Preserve at Beavercreek Alzheimer's Special Care Center Deploys High-Tech Ionization System to Combat COVID-19

Ionize. Filter. Breathe. Repeat.

Preserve at Beavercreek Alzheimer's Special Care Center

JEA Senior Living and the Preserve at Beavercreek Alzheimer's Special Care Center are proud to announce the introduction of the GPS Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NBPI) technology into all air handler systems in the facility. This is yet another essential step forward in JEA's commitment to exceeding safety protocols in keeping its facilities virus-free.

What is NBPI technology?

The NBPI technology is a highly developed system to assist with the rate reduction of Norovirus, Coronavirus, MRSA, and other airborne pathogens, particles, and odors.

How does it work?

This energy-efficient system creates a field of ions that helps trap particles and pathogens as they travel through the air stream. As they are trapped, they are neutralized by the charged ions, rendering them harmless. These ions travel throughout the facility, including spaces unseen to leave no residual particles or pathogens remaining as well as neutralizing odors.

What does this mean for JEA Residents?

"Although we will continue to maintain and exceed every COVID-19 safety protocol, this revolutionary system adds an important and necessary layer of protection so that we all may feel more confident in our surroundings and allow us to better serve and protect our most important assets: our residents."
