Premier Pharmacy Services Adds UPLIZNA® (Inebilizumab-Cdon) to Rare Disease Portfolio

Access for UPLIZNA® (inebilizumab-cdon) is now available for eligible patients at Premier Pharmacy Services. UPLIZNA is approved for the treatment of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) in adult patients who are anti-aquaporin-4 (AQP4) antibody positive.

NMOSD is a rare neuroinflammatory autoimmune disease characterized by unpredictable attacks that often lead to a severe, irreparable disability including loss of vision, paralysis, loss of sensation, bladder and bowel dysfunction, nerve pain, and respiratory failure. Each NMOSD attack can lead to further damage and disability.

"Our mantra at Premier is to 'do everything for every patient every day.' We're honored that Horizon has extended their trust to the Premier team and that we will now be able to provide care for patients prescribed UPLIZNA in the comfort of their own homes," said Stephen Samuel, CEO, Premier Pharmacy Services. Premier Pharmacy's onsite licensed home health agency promotes fluid home-based services with integration and coordination among providers.
