Practice Management Institute Announces New 2012-2013 National Advisory Board

Practice Management Institute today announced its new National Advisory Board for 2012 and 2013.

Practice Management Institute today announced its new National Advisory Board for 2012 and 2013. Comprised of physician liaisons, health system principles, physician health organization directors, and faculty designate. The board members will be instrumental in helping PMI to support PMI's growing member base.

The new members are: Gretchen Pike, PAHM, CMOM, Coordinator, Provider & Payer Relations, Director, Hancock Regional PHO, and Property Management Liaison, Hancock Regional Hospital; Brooke Chodzinski, Executive Director, CHRISTUS Southeast Texas PHO; Courtney Waggoner, CMC, CMIS, Patient Services Manager, P. Beutel Health Center - Texas A&M University; Libby Purser, CPC, CMC, CMIS, CMOM, Sup. Health Information Management, Dallas Diagnostic Association Plano; Andy McEntire, CMOM, Provider Relations Representative, Ark-La-Tex Health Network; Jennifer Stanley, Physician Relations Specialist, Northwest Texas Healthcare System; Tina R. McIlwrath, CCMEP, Continuing Medical Education Manager, MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society; Doug Arrington, Ph.D., FNP-BC, NEA-BC, CHC, CMC, Director- Revenue Cycle Development, UT System- Health Division, Director, Billing Compliance, UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas; Barbara Good, CMC, CMOM, Physician Practice Advocate, West Virginia State Medical Association; and Pam Mortin, Northeast Louisiana Physician Hospital Organization. Linda D'Spain, CMPE, CMC, CMIS, CMOM, CMCO, has also been named to this year's board as the Faculty designate.

The new board members will provide feedback and recommendations to PMI for the purpose of curriculum planning and development. They have been elected to serve a two year term.
